Game 10 - Maryland vs. UNC Wilmington 2003
UNCW entered the tournament as an 11 seed, and were coming off an upset as a 13 seed the year prior. Maryland was the defending champions, though after a disappointing regular season, were slotted as a six seed. This game was even better than it sounds, The Seahawks looked dominant for stretches of play, but the Terps always found an answer. Seahawks Freshman John Goldsberry set a Tournament record by going 8-of-8 from three point territory (remember this was 17 years ago, kids). UNCW had the lead with seconds to go, and looked as if they had the Maryland offense stymied in their backcounrt. Drew Nicholas was able to wriggle free and up the floor and launch an off balance three pointer that beat the buzzer
